Once Saved Always Saved vs. I Corinthians 15:1-2

I Corinthians 15:1-2 is a very good passage against the false idea of “once saved always saved.”First we see the passage is talking about "brethren," Christians. Second we see the possibility of these Christians losing their salvation, because the passage says they will be saved if they keep in memory the gospel. This implies they wouldn’t be saved if they failed to keep it in memory.Notice their directive was not to begin to remember the gospel, but to keep remembering it, implying they had already accepted the gospel previously. These brethren were warned that if they failed to keep the gospel in memory, their belief would be “in vain,” meaning useless or worthless - obviously they wouldn’t be saved. And note their current belief was not an incomplete belief like the demons, because the belief they possessed would lead to their salvation as long as they kept the gospel in memory.Read the passage for yourself, and believe God's clear teaching on this important subject.
