Is It Only A Shame For Women To Speak In Church, But Not A Sin?

It is true I Corinthians 14:35 says “it is a shame for women to speak in the church,” but if that means it is not a sin, then I guess the following are also only a shame, and not a sin:• Revelation 3:18 … shame of thy nakedness …• Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness (form of same Greek word), nor foolish talking, nor jesting ...• I Corinthians 11:6 ... if it be a shame for a woman to be … shaven …• I Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?Not only does verse 35 teach it is a sin for a woman to be a “preacher” (as the term is commonly used today), but verse 34 does also as it commands “let your women keep silence in the churches” and “it is not permitted unto them to speak.”I don’t recall where the Bible ever says such and such “is a sin” using those exact words, not even in the ten commandments. But I John 3:4 says “sin is the transgression of the law” – so it is a sin to transgress/violate the law of I Corinthians 14:34-35.Most churches today just ignore God’s instructions on this. Where does the congregation you attend stand on the matter?
